As South Africa’s leading bookmaker, Hollywoodbets has invested heavily in the local horse-racing industry over the past three years, ensuring the survival of two major racing centres. This has included the purchase of four racecourses and more than 200 Thoroughbreds.
Our ambition is to raise the profile of South African horse racing to match leading international jurisdictions. To that end, we have partnered with McLloyd to provide racegoers with precise, accurate sectional timing for every race on our tracks.
The data are fed into our in-house graphics software to show accurate visuals of each horse’s progress, live gaps and sectional splits.
